10 great things to do in Berlin with the cold weather!
There are many reasons to come to Berlin in winter. The main one is to experience its unique season charm. At first glance, it all seems calmer. But don’t fool yourselfe: only the temperatures are chill. Under the dark cloak, that arrives early by the way, Berlin boils as usual. And what other city knows more fun than this one? Visit the Soviet War Memorial
This not so famous but definitely monumental memorial looks even more amazing covered in white. After all, it just makes more sense with such an atmosphere.
Ice skating
Sport – dance – fun! Ice skating has it all. And Berlin has great rinks. Our favorites are Eisbahn am Neptunbrunnen, Eisstadion Neukölln and Erika-Heß-Eisstadion Wedding.

In icy times do like the pinguins: stick together. Since ancient times food has always been a good reason to bring people together. A walk in Tiergarten
The park of Berlin that most invokes fairy tales gets in winter a fascinating glimpse. Desolated weeping willows hanging over frozen waters; squirrels hurrying with their bushy tails, statues, fields and bridges silently static under white. Yes, you will feel like in an old magic black and white film.

With all the handcraft, typical seasonal food and lights – so many warm nice lights – the best of Christmas Markets is still the delicious Glühwein. Made with red wine mixed with spices and served hot with a slice of orange this classic winter drink warms up even bad moods. Street food at Markthalle Neun
This old and beautiful covered market offers every Thursday between 5pm and 10pm street food from all around the world made by creative and talented chefs. No matter how gray the outside may seem, inside here colors, smells, and tastes brighten hearts.
