Berlin has a long migration history that seems luckily never to cease. More than fifteen percent of the population is foreign from over 190 countries. Whit its tolerant, libertarian and creative disposition the city keeps attracting people from all around the world. The result is a living multiculturalism full of possibilities, a heterogeneous city that not only respects but especially celebrates diversity and all the wealth that comes with it.
A big example of this is the up coming beloved event Karneval der Kulturen (Carnival of Cultures), a four-day urban festival that reflects Berlin’s many faces.
