Lucia Christmas Market at the Kulturbrauerei
Lucia Christmas market is located at the old brewery of Kulturbrauerei that houses numerous bars, theaters and clubs.
So it’s cozy, Scandinavian and a little more modern than the other Berlin Christmas markets so it attracts a younger, hipper crowd. But there’s enough entertainment for families as well. Lastly, it is famous for its open air heater, where frozen visitors can warm up to a hot stove with huge fur coats, a typical Nordic tradition.

Eko Advent Market
Here’s another cool version of the traditional Berlin Christmas market. Every Sunday in December, this market offers a Christmas shopping mile on Wörther Straße. Only high quality and sustainable gifts, toys, tree decorations and delicacies are sold here. Often sold by individual designers. So your visit to this Christmas market supports fair wages for the producers and the careful use of resources.

This one has to be on the best Christmas markets in Berlin list. Off course drinks, food and plenty of entertainment can be found here as well. For kids, there’s an afternoon Santa sleigh ride and much more.

So if you want to see it all, visit Berlin’s largest Christmas Market in the old suburban west Berlin neighbourhood of Spandau. Because the atmosphere is great, there are food stalls of every kind, stalls that sell decorations, crafts and gifts and a pretty decorated Christmas tree. This Berlin Christmas market is especially nice for families to visit. And did we mention the beautifully lit St. Nikolai church as a scenic backdrop of the market? And that there’s a stage with all sorts of entertainment and a real Santa that takes in all the kids’ wishes? So winter fun to be had for the whole family here!
And it’s only 20 minutes by TXL from the Amstel House Hostel Berlin to Spandau. So a nice morning or afternoon trip if you are in Berlin in the month before Christmas.
