BEST FESTIVALS IN BERLIN IN AUGUSTCelebrate the last summer month in style with the best Berlin festivals in August! There’s a festival for everyone this month; from beer lovers, to dance festival fans to culture and art addicts. INTERNATIONAL BERLIN BEER FESTIVAL

Beer fans from all over the world, unite! In the first weekend of August, Friedrichshain is a beer paradise for brew lovers with over 350 breweries from 90 countries serving different types and brands of beer at the International Berlin Beer Festival. Life bands perform along the streets to complete this folk festival.

SONNEMONDSTERNE
Pack your swimmers and prepare to enjoy one of Germany’s oldest and biggest dance festivals. Sonnemondsterne focusses mostly on Techno, Electro and House. It’s about 3 hours from Berlin, but well worth the trip if you are into an impressive line-up of famous DJs; Martin Garrix, Steve Oaki, Sven Väth and Lexer will all be there!

NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM
Once a year, most Berlin museums and some galleries open their doors during the Long Night of Museums. Permanent exhibitions, temporary works and special performances can be enjoyed until the early hours!  A dedicated shuttle bus connects all museums.

BERLIN MUSIC WEEK
During this 3 day ‘Pop-Kultur festival, musicians, artists and entrepreneurs turn the Kulturbrauerei in Prenzlauerberg into a musical hub.

LOLLAPALOOZA

One of the most popular festival brands, prize winner of Best Major Festival and welcoming 70,000 festival goers daily, meet Lollapalooza! It’s a multi-genre music festival that started in the US, but has spread across the globe, from Santiago to Paris and from Chicago to Berlin. Rock, EDM, Pop, Hip-hop and everything in between can be enjoyed as well as kids activities, art exhibitions and workhops. Everyone’s welcome to come celebrate!
