It is time for red carpet, flashes and the best moving pictures. Berlinale 2017 – The Berlin International Film Festival is about to start.
Beginning on 9th of February Berlin will live 10 days of celebration of the seventh art. The Berlin International Film Festival, one of world’s most important, will once again bring together cinema’s current biggest names. Artists, professionals, students and fans of the cinematographic industry will stir up city’s greatest movie theaters.
Featuring about 400 films – mostly International or European premieres –, Berlinale 2017 has a breathtaking program. Films of all kinds, length and format are to be found in the many sections of the festival. Independent art house, promising new German talents, avant garde, experimental. There are movies of all kinds and topics for a large audience of over 20,000 professionals.
Between the movies going for this year’s competition are Wild Mouse by Josef Hader; Have a Nice Day by Liu Jian and T2 Transpotting by Danny Boyle. Check out the complete program here. Besides all this the film screenings and award ceremonies there are also many cool parties happening around.
