Best Places to eat in Berlin

Gossip has it that the best 4 things in life are to eat and travel. What about the other 2? Well, to eat and travel. We could not agree more with it, specially our receptionist Ariane, to whom eating is a reason to live. She drops appoints and compromises if a good plate of food is at stake. And, of course, she is a great cook. Nobody better than her to give us some tips on restaurants and gastro hotspots in Berlin. Dear travelers, with you the suggestions of our food expert Ariane:

Eis cream: City’s best eis cream is made by small fabric Vanille Marille with 4 addresses in Berlin: Kreuzberg, Schöneberg, Steglitz e Tempelhof. They offer great unconventional flavors, from which the best is peanuts with homemade brownie.

Burger: Soft bread, great sauces and the best meet in town you find at the Burger International in the hip neighborhood of Neukölln. A tip like said by some one that comes from the border with Argentina is to take seriously.

Kebab: Mustafa’s reputation goes beyond Berlin’s borders. We have guests who come to reception only to ask about the famous vegetarian kebab in Mehringdamm. The loooong line is worth taking. Not to risk getting in the mood for another one, better order a Kebab to eat and a Dürüm to go.

Street Market: Saturday’s at Maybachufer the street market offers food from all around the world: Ethiopia, Brasil, Italia…

Food Park: The Thai Park is the place in Berlin for the lovers of asian food. Thai sells their food in small tends or even setting on the floor.

Coffee: The Pakolat is a really charming cafe in Prenzlauer Berg. More than 100 years old the it is fully decorated with old furniture. The walls of the kitchen are made out of glass and the coffee and cakes are simply delicious.
