Fusion Festival – 26 June – 30 June 2019
One of the most well know festivals in the world, Fusion Festival, ends up in most top 10 festival wish lists. It’s one of those festivals you should at least visit once in your life. Hosted on a former military basis 150 km north of Berlin, planet Fusion offers a unique and relaxed atmosphere with theatre, dance, performance art and cinema for 5 days. To add extra excitement, the line up is kept secret until a few days before the festival.
Nation of Gondwana – 19-21 July 2019
One of the smaller festivals on our list, only 60km from Berlin. Since its inception in 1995, the organizers of this festival have put a whole lot of love into the smallest details, making it a very special experience. From decoration to the programming of electronic music.
Melt Festival – 19-21 July 2019
Like Fusion, this festival that takes place on the industrial island Ferropolis has been around for over two decades. Various famous acts have performed on its stages and the festival still attracts rising stars and well know DJs from all over the world. It’s an experience!
Helene Beach Festival – 25-28 July
Only one hour from Berlin and set right at the beach of one of the cleanest lakes in Germany, Helene Beach Festival has a holiday vibe to it like no other festival near Berlin. Besides EDM, you also find Hip Hop stages and Rock musicians. Swim and relax during the day, party until the sun comes up. What’s not to like?
POP Kultur – 21-23 August
Another great festival that’s held right here in Berlin, is POP Kultur at Kulturbrauerei. Besides the DJ stages and live concerts, this cultural festival also hosts art installations, interviews, movies and live readings.
Berlin ATONAL – 28 August – 1 September
A fan of electronic and experimental tech? Then Kraftwerk, an old power plant in Mitte, is your destination. During ATONAL this industrial building will be lit and live music and techno beats will entertain you for 5 days.
Lollapalooza – 7-8 September 2019
From upcoming singer-songwriters to famous bands like Kings of Leon and solid DJs like Martin Garrix, Lollapalooza offers a variety for everyone. The US originated festival is organized in 6 different countries. And best of all, it takes place right in Berlin’s Olympiastadion.
