Amstel House’s commitments in times of Coronavirus

This page will be constantly updated with information about the hostel situation, German government guidelines, travel safety and flexibility in booking.

In these difficult times the best thing to do is to be in solidarity and follow all government guidelines to the letter. To delay the spread of the coronavirus and contribute to the safety and health of all of us, the Amstel House decided to close its doors on 17.03.2020 until at least 20.04.2020 (with great possibility of this period being extended).

We are using this time of closed doors to develop better sanitary security measures for our guests. To ensure maximum results, we contacted a microbiologist, who gave us all the tips of a detailed and committed step-by-step. Click here to learn more.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATION OF RESERVATIONS

All reservations made for this period may be changed at no additional cost or cancelled with a full refund. If you are making travel plans for the future, we are also offering free changes and cancellations for stays up to 31.08.20. Please inform us on [email protected] until one day before arrival. For information about cancellations, changes or requests for group reservations, please write an email to: [email protected]

STAY TUNED, TRAVEL ONLINE

We believe that moments of crisis are also opportunities to create new ways to communicate, to be together and to travel the world. With internet this is all possible even without leaving our homes. Amstel House will remain active online, sharing content on forms of virtual travel and up dates about the Hostel, as well as new German government guidelines related to tourism, Berlin and Germany. Stay connected on our social networks: BLOG, instagram and facebook. We hope to be together again soon.

While closed, we are accessible only via email: [email protected].
Please note that due to the situation emails may take longer than normal to be answered.
