Berlin is known as one of the best cities in the world to party. Fact! Especially in the summer it is a wonderland. In celebration to the 10th anniversary of Amstel House, to the arrival of summer and to the fact that here is a great place to celebrate, we made a list of the Top 10 Berlin clubs for summer.

  1. Club der Visionäre: this small and cozy club is one of the most famous afterhours of Berlin. Built in a former boathouse on the border between Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, its wooden deck over a charming canal is the perfect scenario for a chill out sunrise during summer.
  2. Urban Spree: right at the Warschauer Str. this club has a quite varied program that get to please Greeks and Trojans. Although small and intimate in the inside, its huge outside brick-concrete-wood area has a full agenda from April to September.
  3. Arena-Badeschiff: for those in Berlin it is not necessary to travel to the coast to party at the beach. This true summer club offers sand, swimming pool, hammocks, open air bar with fresh fruity cocktails and a great city view over the river Spree.
  4. Kater Blau: based on the formers and trendy Bar25 and Katerholzig this place has no doubt one of the most fun outside-club-areas in town. With a huge and playful backdrop made out of wood, light effects and surreal decorations it is a trip just to get in. Besides parties with uncomplicated lines the program has flea markets and open air cinema. An amusement park for adults!
  5. Sisyphos: parting here is like going to a summer festival. Open every second weekend from Friday afternoon till Monday morning none-stop this place offers five dance floors and innumerous outside chill out areas for a really hedonistic public.
  6. ://about blank: based on the former industrial area of East Berlin this club has two small dancing floors and a nice garden where DJs play during summer. Focus on house and techno the parties here less till the following afternoon. A great and regular event not to miss is the Homopatik, a gay party famous in town.
  7. Rosi’s: last club at the parting street Revaler Str. this place is popular among students. Parties here are to dance many kinds of music like Drum”n”Bass, Electro, Techno, Hip Hop and Indie. The decoration is basically made out of retro GDR furniture. The outside area makes it cozy for hang outs, to play table tennis or even for grilling.
  8. Klunkerkranich: a little off the clubbing area, located however in the no less bohemian district of Neukölln, this small club over a rooftop has surely one of the best 360° views of the city and is a great location to see the sunset.
  9. Else: the trendy club Salon zur wilden Renate opened in 2013 an offshoot for summer open airs called Else – a club open only on Sundays that plays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. gigs from well known to newcomers DJ, all placed in the best quality category. Located next to the S-bahn station Treptower Park the place has just the best view over the emblematic sculptor Molecule Man over the river Spree.
  10. Watergate: very popular among tourists this a-bit-chic-for-here club hosts many known DJs and big labels. The terrace over the river right at the postcard bridge Oberbaumbrücke it’s great for the long duration partiers.
