The summer season is open! And with it our special services are back on track. Besides the famous ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT BURGER BBQ taking place every Friday afternoon in our Amstel backyard, we have prepared a brand new Walking Tour. Guided by the sweet Ana, the best Berlin walking tour leaves every Saturday morning from the hostel and goes through the following sightseeing’s:
1- Hauptbahnhof
Berlin’s amazing main station, an astonishing piece of modern architecture.
2- Reichstag
Officially the Deutsche Bundestag, historical building that hosts the German Parliament.
3- Brandenburg Gate
Best know landmark of Germany and Berlin’s main postcard this neoclassic monument is the Gate to the charming Avenue Unter den Linden.
4- Holocaust Memorial
In memorial to the Jewish victims of the holocaust this monument made by architecture Peter Eisenman stays both as an impressive reminder and preventer of what the human horror can be.
5- Topography of Terror
Outdoor museum located at the former headquarter of the Gestapo and SS, main apparatus of repression during Nazi times.
6- Potsdamer Platz
Crazy modern constructions signed by many of worlds’ best known architectures.
7- Check Point Charlie
Most famous cross point between West and East Berlin during the Cold War.
8- Gendarmenmarkt
Beautiful Square born in the 17th century that hosts the Concert Hall, the French and German Church and the monumental statue of poet Friedrich Schiller.
9- Berliner Dom
City’s most beautiful cathedral.
10- Museum island
This Spree Island hosts five of the most important German museums: Altes Museum, Neues Museum, Alte Nationalgalerie, Bode Museum and Pergamon Museum.
